2019 Acura MDX Standard
The 2019 Acura MDX is equipped with a powerful engine that’s capable and demands your attention. This 3.5-liter V6 makes 290 horsepower. That kind of horsepower can be used to your advantage when out on the highway, though this sleek SUV handles city streets and narrow urban pathways well, too.
Depending on whether you choose the second-row captain’s chairs or the standard second-row bench, seating in the MDX can be for either six or seven people. The sport seats with premium leather trim ensure that everyone inside the cabin is comfortable at all times.
The driver’s 12-way power seat with power lumbar support makes known that even long drives can be welcoming, and certainly won’t feel cramped.
Tech-wise, thanks to Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ coming standard, you’ll be able to link up your smartphone to the touchscreen for easy access to text messages, music, and your favorite navigation app. With access to your smartphone right on the touchscreen, you don’t have to look away from the road ever again.
2019 Acura MDX Technology Package
As you may expect, the technology package adds on sophisticated navigation, audio, and connectivity features. First, though, it’s worth mentioning a serious interior upgrade. The Technology Package transforms the interior with natural wood accents giving off a more refined feel.
Tech-wise, there’s the Acura Navigation System, which comes with an 8-inch LED screen that shines bright in the center stack area. Choose your destination and directions using voice recognition functionality, and avoid heavy traffic with Real-Time Traffic™ capability.
In the sound department, it’s a whole new ballgame. The ELS Studio® Premium Audio System has extended frequency range and better clarity, so all your songs sound great wherever the roads are taking you.
2019 Acura MDX Advance Package
The Advance Package includes the Technology Package, so you’ll get all the features we’ve mentioned above. Plus, you’ll also get amenities like heated second-row captain’s chairs. Yes, if you’re a passenger, you deserve the same heated seats that those up front are able to enjoy.
Heading back to the front, the Surround-View Camera system provides an improved vantage point when parking. Four cameras positioned around the car can help you pick up on blind spots and certain obstacles.
While the heated seats are nice to have, what about heated and ventilated seats? You’ll have the ventilated seats with the Advance Package, keeping you cool when the temperatures rise.
2019 Acura MDX Entertainment Package
With the rear entertainment system, a 9-inch screen is lowered from an overhead console, so the kids can watch movies while you focus on your drive. There’s also an available wide 16.2-inch screen, which can show wide-ratio movies or even have two separate screens going at once.
The second row will remain connected. Hang out and plug in. The Advance Package allows you to hook up a laptop or even a game console, which you’ll then see on the screen.
2019 Acura MDX A-Spec® Package
The distinct A-Spec® Package features an upgrade to the drive itself, with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ standard. With all-wheel drive capability, it’s easier for the MDX to get a grip on the roads, even when they’re a bit slick.
Exterior features include:
- 20-inch gray split 5-spoke wheels
- A-Spec® front and rear bumpers
- A-Spec® dual oval exhaust outlets
- LED fog lights
- Gloss black and dark chrome exterior trim
Inside, the Alcantara®-trimmed interior shines. These seats offer comfort and driving support, with this material providing better grip when handling every curve in the road.
