2020 Acura TLX Trim Levels
Searching out a luxury midsize car with a number of standard features and amenities, powerful performance, and sleek design? That certainly sounds like the 2020 Acura TLX if you ask us.
At Speedcraft Acura, we’re proud to stock the latest edition of the TLX in our inventory for Warwick, Providence, and Coventry drivers. In this space, we’re taking a closer look at the different ways drivers can enjoy the TLX. While you won’t find truly traditional “trim levels” per se, there are different packages which can allow you to customize the TLX the way you want.
Acura TLX Standard
The entry-level edition of the TLX is certainly well-stocked, to say the least. There are two different powertrain choices, with a 4-cylinder standard and V6 engine available. You can also select from either front-wheel or all-wheel-drive, too.
The sport seats with the leatherette-trimmed interior are comfortable, as is the driver’s seat, which can be adjusted 10 different ways and comes with power lumbar support. Any cold morning or chilly night can be combated with the heated front seats, and the dual-zone climate control gives both the driver and passenger a just-right feel.
Tech-wise, Apple Carplay® and Android Auto™ integration come standard, letting you link up a smartphone to the touchscreen for access to maps, text messages, music, and more.
The TLX is equipped with a number of safety features, including Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Adaptive Cruise Control with low-speed follow, and Lane Keeping Assist System. While there’s no doubt that the TLX Standard is a powerful entry-level offering, drivers seeking a bit more tech will want to try the Technology Package on for size.
Acura TLX with Technology Package
As you may expect, the Technology Package comes with a number of tech features designed to make life inside the TLX easier. It also comes with perforated Milano premium leather, so the sport seats feel even more comfortable.
The Acura Navigation System utilizes hard drive data storage for quick response, with an 8-inch screen mounted high on the dashboard displaying maps, directions, and more. Best of all, with AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic™, it’s possible to avoid gridlock with continuously updated traffic information.
Audiophiles are able to rejoice with the ELS Studio® Premium Audio System, designed by award-winning recording engineer Elliot Scheiner. The 10-speaker system features four mid-range speakers, and a powerful subwoofer, heightening the listening experience.
Acura TLX with A-Spec® Package
The A-Spec® Package puts a focus on interior and exterior styling. Features include round LED fog lights, dark chrome grille, black window molding, A-Spec® styled front and rear bumpers, and A-Spec® side sill garnish.
While you’ll still have the leather seats you got with the Technology Package, the A-Spec® package features seats in red leather, with contrast stitching and piping you won’t find in the other packages. You’ll also have ventilated seats, which can keep you cool when the temperature rises.
Acura TLX Advance Package
The V6 engine comes standard on the Advance Package. The sprightly V6 produces 290 horsepower and delivers more power when out on the highway or tackling city streets. Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ also comes standard.
Those riding in the back seat get a nice treat with the Advance Package: 3-level heated rear outboard seats. You won’t find these in the other packages, nor will you find a heated steering wheel like you will with the Advance Package.
Ready to transform the way you park your car? The Surround-View Camera System has four exterior cameras to give you a 360-degree view of the space around the 2020 TLX.
