The Acura RDX is a compact SUV that was first introduced in 2006. The RDX is notable for being Acura's first compact SUV, as well as the first Acura model to feature turbocharged engine. The biggest change came under hood where a new 2.0L DOHC turbocharged inline-four engine replaced the larger V6 from before. Along with the new engine came a 10-speed automatic transmission, which helps improve both performance and efficiency even further. Executive Director Elizabeth Burke Bryant has led the organization for the last 25 years and has played a major role in improving children’s lives by using information to influence public policy. Using Data to Improve the Lives of Rhode Island Children Data is at the heart of everything Rhode Island KIDS COUNT does. They use the best available data to inform people of how children in the state are doing. Partnering with state agencies and nonprofits that work with kids, they are able to take that data to help influence policy.
