What is Acura Maintenance Minder
How does Acura Maintenance Minder Communicate with Mechanics?
Different vehicle models require a maintenance schedule tailored to its needs. Acura developed the Maintenance Minder to let you, or your mechanic, know what the vehicle needs when it needs it. Based upon your vehicle’s millage and sensors that check the operating conditions of the engine, Acura Maintenance Minder can help avoid issues before they occur.
Even with the Acura Maintenance Minder be sure to continue to check the following items at their specified intervals. Check the oil, coolant, and radiator levels, every time you fill the fuel tank. Each month you should check the transmission fluid, brake fluid, tire pressure, tire treads (check for foreign objects and wear and tear), and all vehicle lights.
When the vehicle needs servicing, the Acura Maintenance Minder will display a code to tell you what is required. Using letters A and B, and numbers 1-6, one code will be displayed. Use the table below to see how a code of A5 means change engine oil and coolant.
